Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as local storage. This Site uses both to remember your preferences and, where you consent, to understand how the Site is used.

• Necessary (always on): required for the Site to function — for example, remembering your cookie consent choice. These do not require consent under applicable law.
• Analytics (optional): if you enable them in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and warmUP's own usage statistics to understand how visitors use the Site. If you leave analytics off, we do not collect usage or reach data about you.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this Site.

To document that consent was given or refused, as required by Art. 7(1) GDPR, we log each interaction with the cookie banner. This record is transmitted to and stored centrally in the warmUP CRM and contains a pseudonymous device identifier generated in your browser's local storage (not linked to your name), the choice made and the corresponding categories, the version of this notice, the page, a truncated IP address, the browser user agent, and a timestamp.

When you withdraw analytics consent, we delete prior consent-based usage events linked to that device identifier from our traffic database. The consent audit log entry itself is kept so we can demonstrate your choice.

The legal basis is our legal obligation and legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate valid consent (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR). These consent records are retained for up to three years after the consent or its withdrawal so that we can evidence the choice, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, use necessary cookies only, or open detailed settings and turn analytics on or off individually. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the Site footer.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
